Give us a Hand, Please?

I’ve just uploaded two podcasts (yes two! I managed to finish editing Monday’s recording yesterday!) and according to some listeners we sound like chipmunks on it, ie it’s running at superspeed. However, on my laptop it all sounds fine, even in different browsers.
Now, I’d like to know if it’s just a Windows thing (I will use Apple forever!) or isolated to just a few computers. And why.
So! Listen to the podcasts (even if it’s just the first bit) to determine whether they play super-speed for you, and drop a comment on how it sounded - good, bad, ugly? - and what computer platform and browser you’re using.
You’ll find the ENO podcasts all here. The newest one is ‘Climate Change: The Big Issue’ which you can find at the bottom of the page.
Also, tell me what you think of our discussions, anything you’d like to add on top of it?
PS: Garageband remains my favourite audio-editing tool, I mean, it was MADE for podcasts!

Sounds fine to me…I mean, the interview with the Scottish guy talking about grocery stores.
I liked this one. It’s funny, because he’s talking about the sort of stuff we’ve been dealing with in America forever. Box stores coming in, ruining the environment, and driving out the smaller businesses.
By the way…you don’t have WalMart over there, do you?

Oh, and I have a PC and am using Firefox.

Thanks for letting me know! I’ve left it in the hands of other people more technical than I, so hopefully whatever the problem is, it can be fixed by them!
We don’t have WalMart over here, no, but we do have ASDA, which is affiliated with it (somehow). And Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Somerfield, Lidl, Morrisons, all big chain supermarkets…! We used to have Safeway, but that died. I know that is/used to be in America as well.

If you click the mp3 button instead of listening to the podcast from gcast or garageband I think it works.
It’s chipmunk-y on my computer but worked when I did that!

Ah good, so downloads should work on it? Well, I’ve included them both in the blog for now, and Az has got the original podcasts. Thanks for that top, though!
